SEKI SYU KAN is a quiet private villa on a peninsula. Situated halfway up the Shonai Peninsula, overlooking one of the world’s most beautiful archipelagos, Sekishukan is a private villa with a sense of the flow of time, sound, light, wind and scent.

The building was renovated over a period of two years from the Sekishukan Seminar House, which had long been used as a recreational facility for university students (accommodation and study). The interior, furniture, lighting, sundries and amenities were selected one by one, carefully collecting memories of the building’s origins, history and the people who have used it in the past, to create a beautiful and extraordinary space.

From the logo to the various promotional tools and the brand website, we worked closely with the villa’s concept of ‘serenity’ to reinterpret the artistic context that flows through Kagawa Prefecture and to embody quality and an overwhelming sense of extraordinary atmosphere combined with unique services and experiences.

The time, experiences and memories of each and every guest who has stayed here are accumulated and refined, shaping the Sekishukan itself, creating a gentle and peaceful accommodation facility that connects the history of the peninsula and the memories of its people.
